What is webhosting?

You sometimes hear the term web hosting, but what is it exactly?

Webhosting is the short version of Website Hosting. Like the names already says is this used for the hosting of a website.
Every website where you go to is hosted by Webhosting.
The website files are stored on a webhosting, so they are on a server at Cheesehosting or another company. A web hosting makes the files available for everyone who visits your website.
