What is a subdomain (srv record)?
As you know do we use subdomains at CheeseHosting. But what is it exactly?
Like you read in 'What is a domain?", is a domain name for example cheesehosting.net.
Subdomains actually mean 'part of domains', an example of a subdomain is tools.cheesehosting.net.
The 'tools' which stands before the domain is the subdomain.
You can point a subdomain at everything you want like a Minecraft server, Teamspeak server or a website.
